An audiobook audition reel is a 5 minute piece of audio that showcases you reading from 3-4 different genres/styles of book. It might include a children’s book, a classic novel, a travel guide, a self-help book, an autobiography or a top-selling novel. Select books that you think suit your voice and that you enjoy reading.
In the studio you will record in the same space and have the same experience as if you were recording a live audio-book. The engineer will follow along with the script as you read and give you direction and guidance as you record. To make an audiobook voice reel takes around 2 hours in the studio.
After the recording session, our engineers will select the best takes and edit and polish your voice to create you a top-quality audiobook narration reel you can submit to audiobook producers and publishers.
