Content Creation Internship

The Creative Internship in Content Creation is for rangatahi Māori aged 18–24 who have some experience with social media, photography, video editing, or other creative tools and are ready to take their skills to the next level.

You’ll work on real-world content projects that may include brand storytelling, lead generation, paid campaigns, organic content or video, all guided by industry mentors and aligned with your creative interests.

Do hands-on project work including content creation and videography

  • Industry mentoring, coaching, and networking

  • Build a portfolio to help launch your career

  • A $1,000 scholarship for successful applicants!

  • Culturally supportive learning environment

The programme is taught in small groups and runs for two days a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

WHAT

Level up your creative voice as you learn how to produce powerful content that connects with real audiences. This course covers the full process - from concept development and planning, to shooting, editing, and digital publishing. You’ll be supported to develop your own content calendar, design visual assets, and tell authentic stories that matter to you and your community. By the end of the internship, you’ll have produced a series of original works to showcase your creative identity, and the confidence to pitch them to potential employers or collaborators.

WHEN

TUESDAYs & THURSDAYs 10am - 3pm TERM 3: Mon 21st July - Thurs 25th September. Graduation Date: Thurs 25th September. TERM 4: Mon 13th October - Thurs 18th December. Graduation Date Thurs 18th December. No class on Mon 27th October (Labour Day).
