Designed for rangatahi Māori wanting to pursue a career in social media marketing, or content creation this hands-on programme guides you through the process of planning, producing, and publishing photography and video content, while developing the mindset and skills needed to thrive in the creative industries.
This Content Creation Internship is for rangatahi Māori who are ready to step into the creative industries. Whether your passion is photography, content creation, podcasting, or videography, this kaupapa Māori programme will give you the tools, experience, and industry insight to grow your skills and your confidence.
What you'll learn:

Camera techniques, photography, lighting and composition.

Podcast studio setup (lighting, audio, cameras) filming and editing

Short form video planning and storytelling

Creating videos, reels, graphic images and BTS content for different social media platforms

Introduction to SEO and social media metrics

Working to client briefs
All equipment provided in class.
The programme is taught in small groups and runs for two days a week on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This course covers the full process - from concept development and planning, to shooting, editing, and digital publishing. Learn practical skills in photography, videography and video editing and create work for your portfolio.
