This Content Creation Internship is for rangatahi Māori who are ready to step into the creative industries. Whether your passion is content creation, podcasting, or videography, this kaupapa Māori programme will give you the tools, experience, and industry insight to grow your skills and your confidence.
You’ll be guided by mentors who are active in the industry and committed to seeing you thrive - not just creatively, but as a whole person. You’ll collaborate with peers on real projects, build your portfolio, and develop the work‑ready mindset that employers are looking for.
What you'll learn:

Making content calendars and planning content

Creating videos, reels, graphic images and BTS content for different social media platforms

Designing social media posts and writing copy for different platforms

Shooting video and photography in studio and on location

Posting and scheduling software and running paid campaigns to different audiences

Social Media Marketing Internship

WHAT
Level up your creative voice as you learn how to produce powerful content that connects with real audiences. This course covers the full process - from concept development and planning, to shooting, editing, and digital publishing. You’ll be supported to develop your own content calendar, design visual assets, and tell authentic stories that matter to you and your community. By the end of the internship, you’ll have produced a series of original works to showcase your creative identity, and the confidence to pitch them to potential employers or collaborators.
