A six month programme for 18-24 year olds starting out in the creative sector. Internships available in audio engineering and content creation.
Bring the skills and experience you have, and work alongside an industry mentor at Crescendo to build your skills, experience and confidence. Each internship runs part-time for 9 weeks.
To be considered, you will need to have a qualification or experience in your chosen pathway.
Internship Programme
This is your opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in the creative industries, in a safe and supportive learning environment. This programme offers paid apprenticeships at Crescendo in two career pathways.
- Audio Engineer
- Content Producer (coming soon)
At the end of your nine week internship, you will learn the core skills required to work confidently in these professions at entry-level. You will get full support from a professional mentor throughout your internship. On completion you will have the skills and experience to develop a portfolio and/or CV, apply for a job and nail an interview.
Programme Structure:
- Part-time internships run for 10 weeks alongside the school term
- Two days each week: Mondays and Tuesdays 10am – 4pm

Audio Engineer Internship
The Audio Engineer Internship is ideal for those proficient in a D.A.W. (i.e. Logic Pro, Ableton, or Pro Tools) and who are aspiring to build a career in the audio industry. This hands-on program offers real-world experience in a professional recording studio, guided by an experienced audio engineer. You’ll work on a diverse range of projects, including music production, sound design, audiobooks, voiceovers, and podcasting, tailored to your interests and the studio’s commercial projects.
Previous projects interns have worked on include sound design for theatre shows, audio tours, podcast episodes, music composition for TV, and recording, mixing and mastering songs for Rockquest, Play It Strange and Tanagata Beats bands.

When: Mondays & Tuesdays 10am – 4pm

Through this programme you will gain practical experience with real-world projects in a dynamic studio environment. This internship bridges the gap between learning and industry, equipping you with the skills, connections, and confidence to thrive in the audio world.
Priority is given to students who have completed another of Crescendo’s music courses.
